Our History
Miter Masters began in 1998 as Misenar Construction. The company was founded by Bodi Misenar on the principle of efficient, detail oriented workmanship and strong communication at a competitive price. In 2004 Miter Masters was incorporated and expanded to nearly 20 employees serving local and national builders and homeowners in the greater Puget Sound area from Tumwater in the South to Edmonds in the North and everywhere in between. We pride ourselves in our ability to efficiently plan and install your kitchen and bath cabinets, interior and exterior doors, custom built ins and mantles and open rail stair systems based on your blue prints, plans and specifications as well as site meetings and online collaboration. We use the latest technology to schedule projects, provide details, specifications and photos to ensure accurate installations.
Our Founder
Bodi Misenar is locally born and raised in Pierce County into a family of craftsman working in various trades from boat building to welding. A strong work ethic was instilled from day one and he began his journey into the world of residential construction as a laborer at the age of 15. He worked summers and weekends as a framer building homes in Federal Way and Bonney Lake through his High School Years. In 1994 he married his wife of 20 years and has 3 children. In 1998 he started his first business as a finish carpentry and remodel contractor specializing in high end custom homes providing design assistance and installations. He built his first custom home in 1999 and has built an additional 31 complete homes since and completed a large number of remodels and additions. This has provided him with a unique perspective from the builder’s point of view in working with subcontractors and tradesmen. A strong understanding of how important scheduling and proper communications of desired details and specifications is essential to efficient execution of the project. Since 2010 Bodi has turned his focus back to Miter Masters as a premier installation contractor for millwork and cabinet packages in the greater Puget Sound Region.
Efficiency
Miter Masters utilizes the latest in technology. All of our crews communicate via smart phone to send and receive detailed specifications and drawings as well as photos and videos. We use the most current builder specific web based scheduling and file sharing programs such as Buildtopia, Buildpro, Buzzsaw and Dropbox and are proficient in translating blue prints and drawings into detailed work orders for the field.
Stair Systems
We install open rail stair systems using wood only or a combination of wood and metal, iron or steel cables.
Design
Lets face it, design is what sets you apart from the pack. Provide us your detailed specifications and drawings and we will make it happen. We work very well with the area suppliers and sales people to identify the materials needed to complete your design as efficiently as possible.
Cabinets
We install cabinets from any manufacturer according to your design specifications. We can build a large variety of buit-in cabinet and shelving features using cabinets or raw materials.
Skillset
Our president, Bodi Misenar has 20 years experience specific to interior finish carpentry. Our crews and individuals are skilled tradesmen with many years experience. Miter Masters works as a large team providing support to each other as needed to translate plans and details and execute projects as efficiently as possible.
Millwork
We install interior and exterior doors, casings, base, window wraps and trims, custom wainscot and wall details, box beam ceilings, crown moldings, and columns.
